Equipment Rentals

Our ski shop provides a wide selection of performance skis and boards to float you through the deepest powder. Please browse the descriptions below, or contact our staff for advice on the skis that will work best for you. Our guides and staff are continually researching and testing the latest ski technology in order to provide the best equipment possible. You will be able to exchange your skis for other lengths and models with no additional charge during your trip if you would like to try out other models. 

Having the right gear is crucial, so snowboarders are encouraged to bring their own bindings to use with our rental boards. We do not supply ski or snowboard boots so please bring this important footwear as carry-on if traveling by air to ensure you are never without them.

Skis

Dynastar Pro Rider(SC 128mm-100mm-118mm)

Born in the Chamonix Valley, this performance-oriented powder ski excels in the deepest snow. This ski is best suited for our seasoned heli ski guest or the skier looking for a high performance free ride ski.

Atomic Heli Daddy (SC-126mm-99mm-117mm)

Our most popular rental skis, the Heli-Daddies are big and bold. If you like easy turns and cruising effortlessly through the deep powder, these skis are for you! These are great all-round skis that can handle a variety of snow conditions.

Available lengths: 150cm, 160cm, 180cm.

Atomic Snoop Daddy (SC 127mm-88mm-113mm)

Freeride or all-mountain? The lightweight Snoop Daddy could care less. With its 88 mm sidecut, it won't submarine in the deep snow or get left behind in the speedier sections.

Available lengths: 174cm, 185cm

Atomic Sugar Daddy (SC 124mm-99mm-115mm)

This ski knows how to enjoy itself in the deep snow.  Great lift in the powder but still responsive in the turn, this is an all-around performer for the intermediate to advanced big mountain rider.  A little softer than the heli daddy.

K2 Coomba (SC 135mm - 102 mm- 121mm)

These fat boys love the deep, deep powder and so will you. Co-created by Doug Coombs and K2, the Coomba is the next generation powder ski built for adventure. Named in Doug's honor, the Coomba is designed for anyone from serious alpinists to aspiring backcountry/heli skiers. The balanced flex pattern and 102mm waist width offers excellent floatation and easy handling.

Movement Thunder (SC 122mm-89mm-111mm)

These Swiss built skis are big mountain sticks designed for big mountain powder. On those days that you need a snorkel to get through a run, the Thunder will give you a serious high performance ride.

Movement Source (SC 135mm-94mm-121mm)

The source is a great all-round, easy turning ski that excels in powder. If there was one ski that does it all, the Source is a contender.

Salomon Pocket Rockets/Salomon Guns (SC-122mm, 90mm, 115mm)

Second in popularity with STHS guests, these skis have a small side cut and are light and responsive. Ideal across a wide range of conditions, the Guns/Pocket Rockets have twin tips and ample flex to make skiing fun.

Available lengths: 165cm, 175cm, 185cm.

Movement Goliath (SC 134mm - 99mm -118mm)

A ski meant for powder and open terrain where an expert can really open it up. One of its celebrated qualities is that it skis much easier and shorter than the dimensions would suggest. This is due to the core materials - light but superbly balanced with fantastic dampening qualities to facilitate an easier release in tight turns.

Movement Black Rose - Women's (SC 120mm-87mm-109mm)

A very light ski with the same construction features used in the development of the Thunder. It is the ideal ski for expert women skiers who want a powerful ski which can handle everything from powder to compact snow. This is the women's performance freeride ski.

K2 Phat Luv-Women's (SC 135mm-102mm-121mm)

Specially designed by women for women, the Phat Luvs are the ultimate deep powder ski. Light and agile, this ski floats effortlessly through untracked snow. The new tip shape and and overall design make this a superb all-mountain ski that is ready for all conditions.

Snowboards

Our shop is currently stocked with a variety of Canadian-made Prior snowboards. Have you ever tried a board designed to float through the powder? Well, you must try one of these beauties!

Prior Khyber

The Khyber is a performance powder board, with improved trim, float and maneuverability for the really deep powder. This board works well for riders of all abilities and is very nimble in the trees.

Prior Pow-Stick

This swallowtail is definitely not for the birds! If you plan on a day of epic glacier action in the wide open, the Pow-Stick will deliver. This directional board provides effortless float and speed so you can leave your friends choking on your rooster tail of snow.

Prior Spearhead

This is the most diverse all-mountain snowboard that we could find. A responsive snowboard that will help you enjoy the run from top to bottom.
