Proof of Vaccination Required for the 2021/22 Season

Guests and staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to ski or snowboard with Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing for the 2021/22 season.

Last Updated: October 29, 2021

The safety, health, and well-being of those who work at and visit Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing (STHS), remain our first and highest priority. The COVID-19 virus continues to be a risk in the workplace, and we are committed to providing the safest environment possible. As a result, we are implementing a mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Policy to ensure the health and safety of our guests and employees, and to complement our existing protocols and prevention measures.

For the 2021/22 winter season, STHS is requiring all guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Given the intimate nature of heli-skiing, all guests, using helicopters, van transportation, and dining facilities, will be required to provide proof of vaccination with a Government of Canada-accepted vaccine. All STHS employees are also required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 1, 2021.

We are asking all guests to submit proof of their vaccination via email to health@selkirk-tangiers.com.

In addition to proof of vaccination, masks will be required while in the helicopter, transport vans, all indoor areas, and in any instance where physical distancing of two metres or more is not an option. All staff and guests will also be required to conduct daily health evaluations in accordance with the requirements set out by the provincial health authority.

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, STHS will continue to adapt its policies and protocols under the guidance of the Province of British Columbia and local health authorities. We are committed to delivering a world-class experience and look forward to skiing with you this winter.

Important: If you are visiting Canada from another country, you must meet specific government-regulated entry requirements, including full vaccination. More information
