This program blends resort training, avalanche skills, and guided heli skiing so you can step into the backcountry with confidence.

Trip Details

This program is designed to feel both intimate and supportive. We’ll be flying with a Bell 212 helicopter, which comfortably fits 6 guests per group. To keep the experience personal, we run two rotations of 6 guests each, for a maximum of 12 participants in the program. Each group skis with two professional guides — one leading from the front and one supporting from the back — ensuring safety, guidance, and encouragement at every turn.

This experience is designed for advanced resort skiers who:

  • Can ski confidently on groomed terrain
  • Have tried some off-piste terrain but don’t feel fully comfortable yet
  • Have little or no experience skiing in deep powder

We’ll start by building your foundation at the resort, giving you the skills and confidence you need. Then, with the support of our guides, you’ll take those skills into the backcountry, progressing at your own pace and gently pushing your boundaries in the heli ski environment.

Your stay includes double-occupancy accommodation at The Sutton Place Hotel, a luxurious property located right at the base of Revelstoke Mountain Resort. The Sutton Place combines modern elegance with alpine charm, offering spacious suites with full kitchens, fireplaces, and breathtaking mountain views. After a day on the slopes, unwind in the heated outdoor pool and hot tubs, or enjoy the fitness center and spa services. On your heliskiing day, breakfast, lunch, and après are all included to keep you fueled and refreshed. Start the morning with a hearty breakfast, enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch in the mountains, and celebrate the day with après back at the base. For your resort day, you’ll have the freedom to explore Revelstoke’s vibrant culinary scene — from cozy cafés to lively local restaurants, it’s the perfect chance to discover the flavors of this mountain town.

Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Arrival in revelstoke

    Your adventure begins upon your arrival in Revelstoke. Settle in to the Sutton Place Hotel, directly located at the base of Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

  2. Day 2: confidence on the mountain

    After breakfast, our team will prep your skis and boards so you can focus on the fun. Today, you’ll spend the day at Revelstoke Mountain Resort with a dedicated ski instructor, working on off-piste techniques and learning to handle variable conditions with ease. Return to the Sutton Place after your day, and enjoy a free evening to discover what Revelstoke is about. 

  3. Day 3: first heli skiing day

    This is the moment you’ve been waiting for. After breakfast, you’ll meet your pilot and guide, walk around the helicopter, and do some backcountry safety training. Then it’s time to take off on your first flight into the mountains. With your guide leading the way, you’ll ride powder runs chosen to match your group’s comfort and skill level. Between laps, enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch in the mountains, then finish the day back at the base for après. Last night in town!

  4. Day 4: building on experience

    At the end of the program, feel free to stay in town and ski at the resort even more. We might also have last minute seats available if you want to build on your heli adventure!

$2,999 CAD per person + applicable taxes

  • 3 nights in a double occupancy room at The Sutton Place Hotel.

Minimum Group Size

We require a minimum of 6 guests by March 6, 2026 to confirm this trip. If the minimum is not met, 100% of any paid deposits will be refunded.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • If the trip is cancelled due to insufficient sign-ups by March 6, 2026 all payments will be refunded in full.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation and medical evacuation insurance.

 

Weather & Skiing Conditions

Heli skiing is weather dependent. We aim to ski a full program but cannot guarantee specific terrain or conditions.

 

Physical Requirements & Skill Level

This trip is intended for advanced resort skiers and riders who can ski confidently on groomed terrain, have tried some off-piste terrain but don’t feel fully comfortable yet, and have little to no experience skiing in deep powder.

 

Travel & Transfers

For those flying into Kelowna International Airport (YLW), we will provide complimentary transfers to and from Revelstoke. Guests arriving from other locations will need to organize their own travel. Please do not book non-refundable transportation until the trip is confirmed after January 31, 2026.

 

Accommodation & Meals

Double occupancy rooms are provided at The Sutton Place Hotel. Single occupancy fee is $185. The SPH offers a variety of room configurations to suit your needs. Standard pricing is based on double occupancy in a one-bedroom suite, but larger multi-bedroom suites are also available for those seeking extra space and comfort. Breakfast, lunch, and après are included on your heli ski day. For your resort day, you’ll have the freedom to explore Revelstoke’s vibrant culinary scene. Dietary restrictions and allergies will be accommodated to the best of our ability with advance notice.
