Choose Your Adventure
Your best day ever is waiting.
To choose the package that’s right for you, start with the length of time you have available for your trip. We break down our packages into single and multi day options. The most common trip lengths range from 1 to 7 days. Once you’ve decided how long you’d like your trip to be, read through our ability levels below and browse the packages recommended for your ability level.
There is a misconception that heli skiing is an extreme sport or restricted to experts only; in fact, we offer several popular programs that cater to strong intermediate skiers and riders in addition to our more advanced options.

how heli skiing groups are formed
At Selkirk Tangiers, we do our best to ensure that you are placed in the most appropriate heli ski group for your ability level. However, certain factors may limit our ability to do this, including the type of program, length of stay, group size, and the combined weight of the group. To assist us in this process, please read through the Ability Levels below to determine which package is right for you.
“I can ski/board advanced terrain & trees comfortably and in control at higher speeds. I enjoy riding in powder and have experience. I’m physically fit enough for multiple full days on the mountain.”
“I normally ski/board advanced terrain and I’m always looking for deeper snow. I don’t need to be the fastest, and air time isn’t required for my day to be a success, but I enjoy small drops. I’m fit enough for full days and I try to get as many as I can.”
“I can ski/board anything, fast, from first chair until last call. If there’s powder on the mountain, I’ll find it and ride it with ease. Deep snow, tree runs, airs, and steep terrain are what I’m looking for.”
