Reservations Specialist

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Reservations Manager, the Reservations Specialist will handle STHS clients’ Heli ski package reservations, including but not limited to: taking them through the booking process, assisting with guest service, including guest’s orientation while they are in-house, and following up after their package is complete. This position is not limited to the Day Heli Reservations department and may include duties with in the Multi Day Reservations department.

 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • To fully understand and promote STHS Heli ski products with potential clients
  • Maintain professional communications with all clients and wholesale agents in a timely fashion by phone and email.
  • Coordinate booking inquires, ensuring all registration requirements and documentation are fulfilled. This includes but is not limited to phone & email communications, invoicing for trips, and payment receipts.
  • Ensure the onsite elements of STHS skiing programs are efficiently coordinated (ie. food & beverage, transportation, accommodation requirements) and communicated as needed to both clients and STHS staff.
  • Duties in other departments such as Day Heli reservations, Guest Services & Dispatch as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Mature, enthusiastic, guest service & sales-oriented individual.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication required.
  • Reservations experience required.
  • Heli skiing or backcountry skiing-related work experience an asset.
  • Ability to speak other languages (German, French, or Spanish particularly) an asset.

Abilities Required

  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize projects within deadlines.
  • Excellence in the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with respect to selling.
  • Knowledge of social media outlets and best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
  • Experience using RTP an asset.

Guest Services Agent

Job Summary

Under direction of the Guest Services Manager and the Guest Services Lead, the primary responsibilities of our Guest Service Agents are to deliver outstanding customer service to all STHS clients while ensuring completion of daily Guest Service and Retail duties. These include welcoming all guests to the property, completing waivers and initial onboarding, as well as working in the retail store recommending and assisting guests in purchasing goods.

 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure all guest documentation regarding registration, waivers are completed and information regarding health alerts, allergies and medication are given to the appropriate persons
  • Preparing and organizing daily guest lunch requirements
  • Prepare for and conduct orientation sessions for new guests upon their arrival, providing an outline of what their package includes and what to expect during their stay.
  • Prepare documents for all departments on a weekly basis pertaining to in-house guests’ groups, dining schedule, etc.
  • Management of retail products, merchandising, maintain inventory levels.
  • Knowledge of retail point of sale system RTP, and regular computer software applications
  • Professional telephone etiquette, message taking and directing phone calls to the appropriate persons.
  • Product knowledge in regards to services and programs offered by STHS and RMR
  • Working with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction through professional customer service
  • Ensure cleanliness in retail shop and related work areas

  • Well organized and efficient in time management
  • Multi-tasking
  • Previous retail experience
  • Able to do light lifting
  • Competent computer Skills
  • Team oriented but able to work with minimal supervision
  • Multilingual preferred (English, German, French)
