Over 40 Years Of Experience
Selkirk Tangiers has been offering heli skiing in Revelstoke since 1978, giving us over 40 years of experience exploring the area. We know these mountains like the back of our hand and have been in the ‘biz long enough to have perfected a seamless experience, ensuring you get the day you’ve always dreamed of.
500,000 Acres Of Terrain
That’s no typo – we have half a million acres of terrain and over 400 established runs in our backyard, giving us the biggest heli ski tenure in Revelstoke. Each guest skis a variety of terrain from ancient glaciers, alpine meadows, pillows, cliffs and old growth rainforest. Our massive terrain and multiple staging areas to access it give us the ability to be nimble and significantly reduces the impact of a poor weather day.
The Snow
Our tenure in the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains consistently receives 40 to 60 feet of powder every year. Average treeline temperatures of -7°C (20°F) give us light, dry powder with a perfect density balance, helping create a healthy snowpack. No need to choose quality over quantity here – we’ve got the best of both worlds!
