Home to Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing since 1999, the Hillcrest offers an authentic lodge experience, with beautiful timber and stone finishing that reflects the surrounding natural environment.

You only get out what you put in. To make sure your heli day is the best experience possible, we’ll fuel you up with an extensive buffet breakfast. Oh, and did we mention an alpine lunch in the field? Everything tastes better at 5000 feet!
After heli skiing, you’ll relax with delicious après nibbles before you have the option of recharging over our fine dining menu selection.
The Heli Skiing Experience
After breakfast, you’ll meet your heli ski guide. We’ll provide you with an avalanche transceiver and fully train you on its operation and other heli skiing safety procedures to prepare you for your day in the field. Pick up your gear from our concierge and get ready – things are about to take off.

Think big. No, bigger. Bigger than that, even. We’ve got half a million acres of terrain in our backyard, and even we haven’t skied it all.
We’ll pick the best slopes possible based on weather conditions and avalanche safety, ensuring you get the run of a lifetime.
40-60 Feet of Powder
It’s what dreams are made of. Fields of powder stretch from the open slopes of the alpine to deep, evenly-spaced glades.
We like to call it our powder playground, and if you can make it to the bottom without a huge grin on your face, we’ll be impressed.
Après With Friends
You’ll come back tired, happy, and begging for more. Drop off your gear and step into the Guides’ Lounge at the Hillcrest Hotel. Heli skiing is a bonding experience, and you’ll find new friends among staff and fellow guests. You might even find yourself planning a return trip before après is over!
