Guide Picks: The Standout Runs of the 2026 Season (So Far)
December in Revelstoke set the tone for what’s shaping up to be an epic 2026 season. Deep, consistent snowfall blanketed the Selkirk and Monashee mountains, creating perfect conditions for tree skiing and long, flowing lines. With the holidays behind us, January is the ideal time to explore the North Tenure and Albert Canyon. The snowpack is settling, the lines are prime, and our guides are already uncovering some standout runs.
Every year brings new discoveries, but this season our guides have already found a few lines that are shaping up to be their favourite runs of 2026. Here’s what they’re loving so far:
Darek – Mindboggler
Located in Albert Canyon North, Mindboggler is a long, 1,000m tree run. The run flows perfectly through playful trees, rewarding skiers with rhythm, speed, and that satisfying powder-filled carve that only December snow can deliver.

Sean – Unbelievable
True to its name, Unbelievable is a 1,200m run in the North Tenure that stretches from treeline to valley bottom. It’s a sustained tree run that offers long, uninterrupted turns through deep powder – exactly what Revelstoke skiers dream of when the snow piles up in early January.
Konrad – Frosted Flakes
Near Woolsey Creek, Frosted Flakes begins on a ridge and winds through chutes that open into glades before dropping to valley bottom. This long, varied line has everything from tight trees to open stashes, keeping each turn exciting from start to finish.

Alex – Joe’s BB
A favourite among glade enthusiasts, Joe’s BB is located in the North Tenure and has meticulously refined by Alex, who leads our summer glading program. Perfected this season, it’s a dreamy, expertly spaced tree run that rewards skiers with smooth, flowing turns and consistent powder coverage.
There’s nothing like exploring these lines with a guide who knows every nook and cranny of our tenure. Whether you’re chasing your first deep powder turns of the season or looking to tick off some of our guides’ favourite runs, a day with Selkirk Tangiers ensures you’re in the right place at the right time. When the snow stacks up like this, knowing where to go makes all the difference – and our guides are already making the most of it.
