As another winter in the Selkirks comes to a close, the team at Selkirk Tangiers is taking a moment to reflect on a season that asked for patience, flexibility, and a shared love of the mountains. This winter moved to a rhythm all its own, presenting conditions that highlighted the ever‑changing nature of the mountains. Through it all, the trust and good spirit shown by our guests stood out as a defining part of the season. Sharing this terrain with such an engaged and adventurous community remains one of the greatest privileges of our work. 

With winter operations wrapped, the focus shifts to the months ahead. Summer is when the foundation for future seasons is built—run maintenance, terrain improvements, and continued expansion across our tenure all take centre stage. These efforts are essential to ensuring that each winter offers new opportunities, refined experiences, and the highest level of safety and quality. 

There’s a unique energy that comes from watching people connect with these mountains, whether stepping into the helicopter for the first time or returning for another chapter in a long‑standing tradition. That shared sense of awe fuels everything the team does. As we close out this winter and look toward the next, the entire Selkirk Tangiers crew is filled with gratitude for the community that surrounds us and excitement for what lies ahead. 

The countdown to fresh snow has already begun, and we look forward to welcoming familiar faces and new ones when the mountains turn white once again.
