Heli Touring

Experience the serenity of the backcountry in the best way possible – with two feet and a heartbeat! Our heli-assisted touring program will send you deep into the Selkirk or Monashee mountains. Accompanied by our certified guides, you will experience the true magic of the Revelstoke backcountry. With decades of experience, our guides know how to safely read and navigate our legendary terrain.

When it comes to snow quality, it doesn’t get any better than the Revelstoke backcountry. The Selkirk and Monashee mountains feature some of the deepest and driest snow in the world. Moderate winter temperatures help create a snowpack that is perfectly balanced between the denser snow of the coastal mountains and the low-density continental snow found in the Rockies. The result is a generally stable and supportive snowpack, which allows us to access a wide variety of terrain.

This package includes a helicopter lift into a designated area, a whole day of ski touring with your certified guide(s) and a heli pick-up at the end of the day. Guests are required to bring their own touring equipment (skis or splitboard, skins, boots, 30L backpack) and have previous experience touring in the backcountry.

Review Our Waiver

Each guest is required to sign an industry standard Release of Liability Waiver form in person at our location, prior to skiing. The waiver will be provided during check-in as it must be witnessed and signed by an STHS Guest Services staff member. If you would like to sign a waiver in a language other than English, please let our staff know at check-in and we will do our best to accommodate.
